Neon is a 43-foot Kegel Element Recreation pattern with a high 12.90 to 1 ratio, the highest in the Element series. It is built to score. Even though it crosses a few more boards than some of the other recreation patterns, the high ratio keeps it friendly and lights up the scoreboard.
Neon gives you a wide pocket and a clear path. The length adds a little challenge, but the big ratio means plenty of room. It is one of the easier Element patterns to attack.

A 12.90 to 1 ratio is about as easy as the Element series gets. Play direct with steady speed and enjoy a wide pocket. You will not need much hook to carry on Neon.
Use the room. Swing to the friction outside and let the high ratio bring the ball back. Misses hold and recover, so stay relaxed and repeat your shot.
Open the lane and play your angles. There is plenty of room to swing and a forgiving recovery. Watch for over and under late as the heads break down.
